No. Recipients can view, approve, sign, and complete documents sent to them without needing to create or have an account.

How do I upgrade, downgrade or cancel my subscription?

An account administrator can upgrade, downgrade or cancel any time.  Visit the Settings >> Billing page of your account to make changes to your plan.

Do people I send documents to need to pay anything?

Yes. On all plans shown above, we offer a free 30-day trial. This means you’ll be able to access all of the features on that paid plan for the next 30 days, for free. Start your free trial now.

Does Upsign offer a money back guarantee?

Yes.  If you are on a monthly plan, you can cancel any time and will not be charged again.  If you’re on an annual plan, you can request a refund if canceling within 30 days.

Will my subscription renew automatically?

Yes. If you’re on a monthly plan, it will renew each month.  If you’re on an annual plan, it will renew each year.

Can I change my plan in the middle of a billing period?

Yes.  You can change your plan any time.  When you change your plan, we pro-rate the billing based on the plan change.

Are UpSign’s eSignatures legally binding?

Yes, Upsign provides bank-grade security measures and includes a comprehensive, court-admissible history and audit trail for every document.  We comply with stringent eSignatures laws, including the United States, Canada, the European Union, and others.  We adhere to conditions outlined in the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN Act) and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA), which give eSignatures the same legal standing as traditional handwritten signatures, provided certain conditions are met. These conditions include the intent to sign, consent to do business electronically, and the ability to retain and access the signed document.
